Delta Air Lines will soon add two new routes from the U.S. to Mexico as part of its joint cooperation agreement (JCA) with Aeromexico.

Starting June 5, Delta will offer daily service between Philadelphia International Airport (PHL) and Benito Juárez International Airport (MEX) in Mexico City, along with daily service between Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport (ATL) and San Luis Potosí International Airport (SLP).

Delta will operate the Mexico City service using a Boeing 737 aircraft and the San Luis Potosí service with an Embraer 190 aircraft.

Delta said in its announcement that Philadelphia is currently the largest U.S. city without direct service to Mexico City. The new route joins other Northeastern U.S. cities, including Boston, Newark, and Washington, D.C., with daily service.

The two new routes reflect the continued growth of Delta and Aeromexico’s partnership, which has expanded with numerous new connections between the U.S. and Mexico. In 2024 alone, the JCA included 28 new scheduled and seasonal routes. The flights announced this week are just two of what could be many more to come this year.
